[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If there is one thing we learned this year from the pandemic that radically changed our lives, it is that nothing lasts forever, whether in business or in life. Companies come and go, people come and go, industries rise, flourish, and disappear. But the opportunities created by the pandemic are real.
Most of the news in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, and elsewhere tells stories of businesses shutting down and dying industries, yet it never focuses on how much the global economy has shifted into a new era.
Much of the developing world has turned to tools it was still reluctant to adopt, specifically: REALLY making the most of the internet.
First of all, we all know that medical supplies skyrocketed early this year, creating demand for many products to be manufactured by new emerging factories. I myself started a pharmaceutical company right before the pandemic was declared; it produces face masks for sale worldwide. But it was not only the pharmaceutical industry that grew this year. By looking more closely at how our spending habits as people have changed, we can identify opportunity niches to create new offers and businesses that make money. Remember: always look for the light in the darkness; do not focus on the negativity.

With growth of 78%+, online shopping, especially groceries, is the winner of the global economy. Having to stay home for weeks or even months without going out, this industry grew dramatically in 2020.
As you can see, online grocery sales are not limited to one opportunity to sell those products. They open windows of opportunity even in real estate, digital marketing, and several industries indirectly connected to online shopping. Do not limit yourself to the obvious; always look for where you can improve a piece of the puzzle and you will get a piece of the pie. Tip: with the fear of getting sick, people are now looking for healthy food. Think about it.
With growth of more than 35% so far, rapid prototyping and 3D printing services have seen a highly interesting progression in the 2020 market. This is because many suppliers suffered from Covid health measures and could not expand in time or to the level required to meet demand from the different markets these fast services can cover. Many people started producing their own supplies in 3D, or buying from entrepreneurs who prepared for this demand.
Looking only at the U.S., the stock market and commodities have seen an increase of more than 29% this year. Granted, it is variable and highly unstable; that is precisely why there are many opportunities. The basic principle of investing in the stock market is to buy low and sell high. With so many fluctuations in the markets, it is not impossible to walk away with more than 40% gains with the right strategy (and the guts).
As you can see, crisis or no crisis, there are always ways to get ahead. The opportunities created by the pandemic are real. It is a matter of analyzing where the opportunities exist and adapting your business (if it already exists and is suffering from the crisis) or creating one on the right foundations. If you lost your business this year, do not worry; it is part of the risks, but bankruptcy is not the end of the journey; on the contrary.
My company CPF Francia was unable to sell for months because of the pandemic; 60% of my client base closed, and instead of paying employees for nothing (they could not work under dry law and quarantine), I put them to work moving medical supplies, and from that CPF Pharma was born. CPF Francia is recovering very slowly; we almost closed the door and threw away the key, but it is still here because thanks to this entrepreneurial vision, the commitment of the partners and employees, we offset the losses with an activity that had nothing to do with our original line of business.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
