Choice, not continued browsing
Updated 18 October 2026.
Damien Soitout and Damien Soitout Inc. ("DSI") publish this site. Opening a page, or continuing to browse, is not consent to optional cookies or optional tracking.
Necessary cookies run because the site needs them. They cover the language, the cart when you shop, the login when you have an account, a technical session used by the mobile view, and the cookie named dso_consent that stores your choice for about six months. That choice cookie stores a random id, the categories you allowed, the language, and the time. It does not store your IP address.
Statistics (Google Analytics) and marketing (Google AdSense and the Meta pixel) stay off until you accept each one. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them. The Cookies button opens the same choice again, so you can withdraw it later. The site stays available if you reject them. The contact form does not send while the form check stays off.
When you accept one of those tools, that provider receives technical data such as your IP address and the page address. A podcast play or download is counted because you asked for that file. A payment uses the provider you choose, such as Stripe or Mollie, only to complete that payment.
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you can object where the law allows. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live, where you work, or where a problem happened.
