To help Culiacán, and later the state as a whole, raise the quality of public and private education, specialists are proposing that teachers from a range of countries be hired and integrated into local education programs.

The effort comes from a civil association created by Édgar Audelo, who holds a Master’s in Educational Technology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, together with Damien Michel Jean-Daniel Soitout, president of the association Fits Connect. Soitout has carried out multiple studies on Mexico’s situation. Together they put forward an initiative noting that Mexico remains dependent on the U.S. economy because it has not pursued exports to other continents.
